Ford Scorpios are as rare as hens' teeth now, and some stupid twerp i n Tesco's car park took out the left headlamp, and crushed the glassfibre bumper.

New Headlamp from Ford £196.50
New bumper from Ford (special order) £600 or thereabouts
Plus one tyre, rated for 146mph top speed (I never do more than about 80, but they won't allow lower spec in MOT) £75 approx
Plus MOT £53.50 ast time. God knows what next time.

Takes more than a year to save that kind of dosh, so I'm looking for second hand parts. Back to the Hen's teeth.

The upside is they only sold 50,000, so anytime soon the survivors will start to appreciate in value. Qualifies as a classic after this April.
