Propaganda drove me away from TV a decade ago, but there's always tapes and DVDs.
A few months ago I got some SCTV discs on eBay. Dirt cheap. The NBC run. I read that they were never released on VHS because the show used so many different songs. They couldn't clear all the music. But they finally got it done for DVD, and the shows are complete except for a couple of bits. They had to cut out the Stairway to Heaven accordian thing with the Schmenge brothers.
Anyway, highly recommended. I think the whole NBC Network 90 run is out on disc. Man...Dr. Tongue and Bruno, 3-D House of Horrors.
