I'm going down to Whitby for my summer holidays and see that there is a folk club there with sessions on a Thursday evening. Does anyone have experience of this club? I was hoping to take the guitar along and join in. Wondered if they were found to be welcoming? I play a bit of everything from Scottish folk songs, modern acoustic music and Americana, through to my own songs some of which are kind of folk style. Does anyone know if this club has a preference just for the more traditional or is it a mixture? Comments welcomed
