The particular house is gone, but you remember the floor plan etc. There are lots of old structures in rural Maine that can be moved,or torn down and reassembled etc. I bet a good plan, the proper old wood and a team of horses and a house-raising could put something beautiful together. Even before a house comes together, would you be interested in putting together a simple concrete block or stone (even better) wash house, with a washer and dryer, shower and bathroom facilities..and a separate room for kitchen type sink. if that were piped and heated, there are all sorts of other living arrangements that could happen..mg
