I've heard a rumour that folk bands are additionally required to complete the supplementary risk form, TRAD1, in triplicate. This form covers specific folk-related risks such as:

Tangling beard in guitar/mandolin strings

Catching beer gut in melodeon bellows

Tripping over tankard on way to bar

Tinnitus due to over-exposure to Morris bells
