I think "Dust In The Wind" is good musically...but I'm not too crazy about the lyric. It actually has a connection in one place to a Native American phrase "nothing lasts forever but the Earth and Sky". This was said by warriors who went into battle fully prepared to die. They had much the same kind of fighting spirit as the Japanese...and that made them very dangerous opponents.Pretentious?...yeah, maybe.
Did anyone contribute Rod Stewart's "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy" or his blatant ripoff "Forever Young" (after Dylan's original "Forever Young" way back in 1974). Or how about "Tonight's The Night"? That one has the hilarious line "let your inhibitions run wild" in it. If that were to happen, of course, Rod would never get ANYWHERE with the sweet virgin girl he is attempting to seduce, now would he? BLEEEEE-AUUUUGHHH! (to quote Bill the Cat) OOOOP!!! AAAAACK!!!
