Debit card works fine...(It's a bank card which allows ATM deposits and all that...plus you tell the machine that it's a credit card, ...it still works as a debit card and you are not charged a transaction fee).I am not tempted to spend foolishly when I know what the limit it. (I can double-check the balance online.)

We have a AAA credit card for gas purchases, which is handy away from home occasionally...and gives us 2¢ per gallon discount.
