Finally all of the snow has melted in the shady spots AND I have one crocus blooming and my daffs are about ready to...they started shooting up a few days ago. I love that promise of cheery yellow. It has still been getting unusually chilly at night; Rog has to scrape his windshield before driving to work every morning, but it's warming up to at least 50 degrees Fahrenheit during the past two days...shirtsleeve weather except in the shade because of a slight breeze which chills quickly. Then, it is supposed to turn cold and blustery with precip...what the heck, we need the moisture!
