Dave -- that's true for me as well. I end up closing my eyes when I sing unaccompanied, partly because it keeps me in the song and therefore remembering my words. If I see a thread that's too much B.S. for me, I just back out of the room and find one of these. There are still plenty and if people in another room insist on quarreling with each other, well, that's their affair and not mine.
