Clearly somehow related to Nancy Whiskey - same story, a couple of the same phrases - but, different. In The Langford Weaver, it's 'Nancy's whiskey'. Nancy is the proprietress of a drinking establishment, but, as in the more popular version/song, can be taken as a metaphor for the drink itself, if you are so inclined.
