We once wandered into a pub with a loud band playing, and became aware that a group of your deaf people were there. While the rest of us found conversation impossible, they were happily conversing in sign language, and leaning against pillars or walls so they could feel the music through the fabric of the building. They really had it sorted and we felt we were the "handicapped" ones.
