If it's the same programme I saw,some of the local residents almost under the approach arches had more than an awe-inspiring experience on discovering rusty bits of bridge in their gardens every time there was a high wind. There is now a hammock of fine wire mesh strung under the bridge deck to prevent similar occurences (but what happens when the weight of the collected debris becomes too much for the wire mesh?)
