This is cool. I use it to time when I will be on the lookout to purchase food on sale. For instance, for the past week, Florida strawberries (Florida) have been greatly reduced in price because they want to move as much fresh stock as they can.

I shall be stocking up on canned peas this week. Canuck producers know the Yanks will have lots of peas soon, so local stock is discounted at least a third because they gotta move their inventory.

Website.

I have been doing this for years. The banks don't pay 30% interest so I take advantage of the harvest cycles to maximize my money. I know many (most) peeps can't. Just like I've said before, the big grocerey stores have a monthly cycle on sales prices which take advantage of gouging peeps paid once a month... peeps on assistance, pension, low income... You can bet the price of peas (and most staples) won't be the same on the next two price cycles (Friday to Friday here).
