Put it in the back of your truck and take it to a man who has a small sandblaster. They usually run them inside a tent like a paint booth. For a small sum he will shot-blast or sand-blast or water-blast every iota of paint, rust and grime off the thing and you'll be ready to prime and paint it in a day instead of weeks of sanding.
