Kendall, the text "PlayToNet" can be found in npevpcfg.dll which is the Hearme plugin for the Microphone Configuration. A search for this string in the Microsof support help files yeilds no results and a search for error 512 yeilds nothing that I could possibly relate to your Heame problem.

I have also tried searching the web only to discover that others appear to be as mystified as we are. With no support from Hearme and no other information, I am at a point where although I realise there must be a simple explaination, I would be considering re-installing Windows.

Thinking of Hearme, the last time I visited their site, I could not find any links to Voice Creator but they seem to be prlugging Voice Contact which is more like a voice based ICQ where you set up contact lists.

I have a horrible feeling that while Hearme are likely to continue to allow Voice Creator to access thier servers, they are trying to let it "fade away" and have no intention of offering any technical support let alone offering the Mac support for this product. I hope I am wrong.
