Jeff & Co. I have to grab hold of the Woods history before it leaves the dock. I'm claiming parentage of the jam session. I had wanted for years to start an alternative to the evening dance. (I can dance but don't because I just don't enjoy it.) Pinewoods had an acoustic song swap for non-dancers that I thought might prove popular. When Linda & I helped run the Woods the year that Grit and Judith had an emergency I proposed to the committee that we start up a non-dancer activity in the log cabin; song swap or acoustic jam. The committee was against splitting the campers during an all-community event. I quietly pushed a couple of the movers and shakers among the campers to start something up in the log cabin without it being Woods endorsed. And, finally, here we are.
