i heard them at chelmsford folk club about '66 and was fairly near the front, they were playing a complicated reel, when swarbrick casually says to carthy "what time's the last train home?" carthy then answers him and several lines of conversation then ensued, all the time playing the tune faultlessly.

does anyone know the nature of swarb's illness/reason for him being in a wheelchair?
