Leadfingers was correct Diz Disley never sang this song and Graham Bradshaw was correct. I used to sing "The Body In The Bag" and Diz sometimes joined in playing guitar and joining me in the chorus.When Diz went to America to stay with Rick Norcross in 1967/68 he asked me for the words of several songs however this was not one of them. I collected my version from a friend Kent Singer Paul Solly in 1956 and I believe that he had changed the chorus to "Off I went with the body in the bag, The body in the bag Gor Blimey".
