Subject: RE: Obit: Vicki Williams (N Wales)
On behalf of Clwb Gwerin Conwy Folk Club our condolences to Trefor and all of Vicki's nearest and dearest at this time of great sadness.

When it is known where and when we will be celebrating Vicki's life and contribution to Folk Music please can I be emailed, in order to inform my club members, at: chair@conwyfolkclub.org.uk. Thanks.

I noticed many of the visitors here knew Vicki only slightly, yet were still moved to write. I think this is a true indication of how Vicki was able to make a lasting connection very quickly.

If you want to know more about Vicki, her and Trefor's website is at: www.treforandvicki.co.uk
So much more to say and sing - it will be said and sung at the many festivals and clubs where Vicki was known.

"All mankind is of one author, and is one volume; when one man dies, one chapter is not torn out of the book, but translated into a better language; and every chapter must be so translated...As therefore the bell that rings to a sermon, calls not upon the preacher only, but upon the congregation to come: so this bell calls us all: but how much more me, who am brought so near the door by this sickness....No man is an island, entire of itself...any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee."
