Thread Name: Lyr Req: Dainty Shepherdess (Where are you going?)
Subject: RE: Robbins School Songbooks, 1930s-50s
Dear Sir
Can you help me please?
I'm retired and live in Aberdeen, Scotland. One of my older brothers has given me the words of a school song (as far as he remembers them!!) I've tried Google but can't seem to find any song containing the lyrics he gave. I would be delighted to find the song as it would mean a lot to him.
Here are the words, as best he can remember them:

O dainty shepherdess, where are you going?
Come roam with me afar, where fragrant blossoms are
Where none our peace might mar
We two a-maying

Many thanks and kindest regards
