I think underlying everything we discussed is the fact that "In Unity There is Strenght". I've started a list of things I'm going to bring up with the Arts Council!

And I'm definitely going to contact my Elected Representatives - or those who are touting for my vote - regarding the small venues exemptions in the Licencing Act. Lots of useful contact info at Live Music Forum ... which is NOT the gov't's LMF, but the earlier independent one.

trac is, btw, trying to work out ways of getting more tunes and songs up on the web. We've started a Youtube channel (early days) and we've got some dribs and drabs of funding to do more with MP3s, et al. I'll let you know as they become available.

Generally, I definitely think that - if nothing else - we at least meet up on a regular basis. Lovely to put faces to names!
