Martyn has been my main folk hero for decades now and I get to see him whenever possible. Not only an excellent performer but an all-round good egg too.
Get him to sing Sailor's Return.
One of my proudest folk moments ever was singing in his house concert out in France. I sang Sailor's Return to Martyn's guiltar and Bill Whaley on squeezebox and Dave Fletcher on low D whistle. The memory will live on forever.
