Pardon me resurrecting such an old thread. As I'm fairly new as a participant (former lurker), I've been rummaging through the dusty attic of Mudcat, and found this topic.

Anyway, I play a lot of instruments badly and a few averagely. I'm no virtuoso at any.

In descending order of competence...

Not too bad at mandolin, mandola, tenor banjo (short scale - smallish hands)

Sort of on the rough side of ok at guitar (after 35+ years of playing it), bass guitar, tin whistle and bodhran.

Pretty dodgy at fiddle, harmonica and bouzouki, but have still been known to play them in a session!
