You are very welcome re: my recordings. Interesting to think back upon those times. Truth be told, I did it because I was a techie geek who loved folk music and was fascinated by TV and video, not because I had any thoughts of preserving something. But looking back at it, I am so glad I did.... and even moreso because no one else was. I don't think I ever saw another video camera in the place. Consumer video wasn't exactly cutting edge by 1981, but it was not something anyone could do by running out to the corner store either. Consequently, there doesn't seem to be much folk video coverage of the late 70s into the mid 80s aside from actual TV shows. What I would have given back then for my current camcorder..... the size of a Coke can with vastly better resolution and low light capability.

My goal is to capture all (approx.) 80 hours that I have from the various folk venues and then figure out how to make as much of it available as I can.
