Gotcha ! Your mother was related to the Simpsons of Trainfield Street, the greyhound people. They lived beside the gate and on the other side were the Mooneys, cousins of the Simpson's. I am still in regular contact with the grandchildren of the Mooneys, Mary's children, to be exact.
