DICK, I have no interest whatsoever in how you spend your very hard earned money and it is also none of my business. Gamblers is a general term for people who gamble at the odds they are presented with. Your name was not mentioned at all. In fact like me you may have only had a flutter on Grand National Day like I do. I used to gamble daily on horses not large sums mainly small amounts on accumulators for a bit of fun. In fact on a four horse win accumulator my five bob would have won me thousands had "Wolf Whistle" won at twenty to one, but it didn't. It scared the life out of the guy who was taking the bets and pocketing the money however. My gambling habits completely stopped when I befriended one of the salesmen who came into our office on a Monthly basis. He knew what was going to win, trouble was I did not believe him until his final tip and I put a lot of money on and won a lot of money. I did not see him after that ,not even to buy him a drink, but just imagine all those people who were studying form, spending their hard earned money on all those races that were fixed, or when the horse was "trying". You cannot fix a Grand National so that is the only race I gamble on. If I had won a lot of money yesterday I would have been the first person to tell you Dick. Al
