Joe is right about the poor documentation of Yazoo releases, and he could have made a similar observation about the standards of their remastering. However, Topic, who crop up somewhere in this thread, can afford to subsidise their traditional releases from profits made elsewhere. Hence, with Topic, lavish booklets, quality discographical information and painstaking remastering are the order of the day.

Yazoo, on the other hand, is owned by Shanacie, and while Shanacie is a large independent roots company which appears happy to support Yazoo's meagre sales, I doubt their business ethic would extend to the subsidisation of expensive booklets.

So, while I accept and share Joe's reservation, the sheer quality of most Yazoo releases makes me extremely thankful that they're still issuing records - with or without high quality documentation.
