This is not about music but after 50 years it should qualify as popular folklore. Just curious if anyone remembers The Story Lady. During the 1950s she did one minute spots on radio telling a fractured version of old fairy tales and other stories in a sweet voice under the pretense of addressing the tales to children. I could not find an audio of any of the tales for a link but the following link does take you to written scripts.
