I almost regret posting this, since it is kind of silly. But my local library is having their semi annual book and bake sale starting tommorrow at 4 and running until they run out of stuff on Saturday. Quite a few folks have brought a very large selection of homeless books to the library for the sale, so the selection should be better than usual, and usual is pretty good. I've found vintage Tom Swifts and encyclopedias there. I will be bringing my famous home made sausage rolls. I can't bring them in hot on Thursday, on account of work. But I will on Friday and Saturday. So, if you're in the Pittsburgh area, head for Monongahela Avenue in Swissvale, and find the library. (Not hard.) Note that they provide literacy classes, job hunting classes, voter registration forms, activities for children and teens, computer access, books, games, and assorted other good things to an area that needs them.
If you can't get here, check out the library's web site. (It's really cool!) If there's something you're looking for her, ask one of the librarians to check out the sale. Or email me and ask. I trust you. Thanks for reading this.
