I received the following email from
so it looks as if we were ALL right about the nits we remembered :)

Bryn's email went:

"I believe that this is a Derbyshire song, as when I did a search for Stony Middleton it turned out to be a Derbyshire village!

The lyrics are as follows, but I'm not sure of the spelling of Anna Baddelly as I transcribed it from a tape (singer unknown)
