I just went to "A Blossom Fell" in Opera 10.51 and simply told it 'print', and it gave me both the lyrics as shown and the images on the left.

Now my question is, when you say 'highlight-and-print', are you expecting it to just print what you highlighted, as you see it? It don't work that way. You get an 'unformatted bunch of lines'. (I have no idea how it used to work, because I never did it that way.)

I got an exact reproduction of the page (in black & white) by NOT highlighting anything....just by telling Opera 'print this page'.
In order to leave out the images on the left, I had to highlight & copy the lyrics area and paste them into an editing program...like WordPad (I use one called MetaPad.) This way you see exactly what it will print.

The Viagra song....same thing. You can't just highlight words....you need to copy the parts you want and put them into a program which understands what you want....However...for this song, you do have the 'printer friendly' button which will give you that single post...although it will include the headers:

I have about 5 older version of Opera...(back to version 6)... I may mess with them, just to see if I can see what has changed, but I LOVE this new one, and would 'suggest' you come to terms with whatever its requirements are. *grin*

(It IS possible to go back and get ANY old version of Opera, and I suppose that if you had a particular feature you wanted, you could always have two versions at once...my 6-7 don't bother me.
