Open iTunes, open Preferences, click Advanced. There at the top is a window labeled "iTunes Media folder location" and a search window to change it. Locate your library there, and select it. You should be set.

IvanB is telling you how to add music to your library, but your problem seems to be that iTunes currently doesn't know where your library is.

That's on a Mac, but it should be much the same on a PC.
