The screenwriters for the 1970 (approx.) film of "Waterloo" (directed by Dino di Laurentiis) seem also to have heard of Napoleon's Scots ancestry, and researched some local idioms. When one of his aides, General de la Bedoyere, states he wished that his son could see Napoleon, the imperial wee Roddy Steiger frae Tounheid replies, "See me?". Err ye go!
