Some of you already know about the internet romance that has blossomed over the last couple of years between myself and Rob Williams (Quantock). We met through the Mudcat group on Facebook in October 2007, and there was magic in the air from the beginning. In 2008 we met in the UK for the first time, and confirmed very quickly that this was indeed the love of our lives and that we are soulmates. We met some of you then, and spent a lovely 2 1/2 weeks going to Bromyard festival, to sessions, and visiting his family.

At the time, Rob was living in the US, although he is English, so there were a lot of logistical problems to sort out as to how we could be together. We decided to both relocate to the UK, and it's taken this long to overcome all the obstacles. We are now both in Sydney, Australia, and plan to get married at St Albans Folk Festival (St Albans in NSW, not the UK), on Sunday 25th April (Anzac Day) at 2pm. The details are here Rob and Jenny's Oz Wedding - on Facebook You will need to be logged in to Facebook to see it.

If you can't see the link, here are some details.

Jenny and Rob's Oz Wedding at St Albans Folk Festival, St Albans NSW - behind the Workshop Cabin - on Sunday April 25th, at 2pm. .

Directions from Sydney Area:
1. Leave Sydney via Dural heading north on Old Northern Road to Wiseman's Ferry (approximately an hour from Dural).
2. At Wiseman's Ferry, turn left on River Road to Webb's Creek Ferry.
3. Cross the river on the Ferry and continue on St.Albans Road for 20 km
4. Turn right onto Wallambine Street Crossing the bridge into St.Albans
5. Take 1st right onto Wharf Street
6. Take 1st right onto Bulga Street
7. The cabin is in Bulga Street, across the road from the Fickle Wombat Restaurant - well back from the road, in the block next to the camping

A few weeks after we are married, when my UK visa comes through, we are going back to the UK to live - in Aberdeen for a start, where he has a nice flat. I spent some months there from October to February - most of my belongings are there now, and it already feels like home! Later on, we will think about moving further down to the area near Dorset or Somerset, where Rob was born.

The only fly in the ointment right now is that my brother is supposed to be here to be the best man, but he is marooned in London because of the volcanic ash that is grounding all the aircraft. We are keeping our fingers crossed that he will get here in time! Wish us luck!
