Take a look at your computer (CPU) case. If you bought it with the operating system installed, then you should find the hologram sticker (about the size of a regular Bandaid) somewhere on the side of the computer. The key is the series of numbers (it'll look something like 12345-23456-34567-23456-12345-23456 and there will probably be both numbers and letters). Otherwise, you can call an 800 number that may be popping up with the message, and they can issue you a new key. Explain what is happening.

Meanwhile, you could simply get a better resident email program. I prefer Thunderbird, put out by Mozilla, the same folks who do Firefox. It's free and it's easy to use.
