Nigel, I use Logic but first I write out the part I want into Sibelius. Then I make a MIDI
file of the part. I simply bring it over into the Arrange area and select the right instrument
from the Media column. I like to compose in notation and then transfer to Logic. This way I can add or subtract from the score at will. Notational functions from sequencers are clumsy compared to dedicated notation programs.
