I know this isn't a joke thread, but I've just GOT to tell this:

The old farmer took his young daughter aside: "The young man who called on you in the parlor last night, who is he? A country boy or a city boy?"

"Oh, Dad, what difference does that make?"

"Is he from the country, or from the City?" he insisted.

"Well, Dad, he's from the country. His father's a farmer."

"Good! I don't want you havin' nothing to do with them City boys with their hi-falutin' ways you've brung around here before, think they're so good, blowin' their nose in little rubber bags and throwin' them behind the sofa!"
