I'm a guitar player who just bought a tenor banjo. Chicago style tuning seems like a good option worth trying out. My question is about string gauges. What strings should I put on to tune Chicago style? Banjo strings? Since it's a different scale as far as length I'm assuming guitar strings would be out. I'm in the dark and need some enlightenment.
