Back in the early eighties, a Mudcatter many of us remember, John Barr (aka Little John Cameron) [1943-2002] performed this song on Newfoundland Television (NTV). His performance was videotaped before a live audience and has now been made into a YouTube video by oldirishladdie to which I have transcribed the lyrics and created a song page at GEST Songs of Newfoundland and Labrador: Lost On The Road Again... Unfortunately, I cannot find the author of this song. John's wife Jacqueline and his daughter Katy tell me John is not the author.
