Bat Goddess or Curmudgeon may add information, but Alan Francis, Paul McNeil was last reported (a few weeks ago) living in California and still doing music. He'd been in the Filipines prior to that.

There are too many I miss. A couple have already been mentioned. I traveled a great deal, and couldn't always find folkies where I lived. I loved Ewan McColl's music, and when I reconnected with folkes in the mid-80's, was very sad to learn he'd died. I only know him from recordings. I saw Peter Bellamy in the 70's, and always thought I'd get another chance. I learned of his death several years after it happened.

It's painful to think of those alive now being lost. If I never had the chance to see Dick Gaughan, the Watersons/Carthys in any combination, Maddy Prior, ...damn, there are so many. I really would have liked to hear the Battlefield Band when Davey Steele was with them.
