I am a longtime (over twenty years!) writer for Dirty Linen, and I have only been contacted by the former editors, not the new crowd. I got a similar, somewhat more detailed email from the Hartmans, but I am not sure to what extent anything in it is sensitive, so I won't paste it in here. Suffice it to say I know few if any details about what might happen in the future.

One thing I definitely believe for now: the new owners/publishers, if they do begin to publish the magazine again, will probably be using a whole different set of writers and a whole new approach...I wouldn't expect it to be the same. I would go online and look at their ezine folkwax to get a sense of what it might be like.
