I went to Lowes, I think, or Home Depot, and bought their large 33 gallon containers that I could see through. I sorted all of the clothes in my closet that I couldn't fit into, and those that were worth keeping I arranged by size, and put in those storage boxes and then stored them in my closet on the top shelves. Each has a sheet of paper in plain sight with the size printed on it, for future reference. Here they are, in my closet. One of these days I'll get down into those smaller sizes, but for now, they're out of my way and not making me feel guilty about not wearing them now. :)

That safe is prominent in the photo, but I don't notice it any more when I go in the closet. They couldn't give me the combination when I bought the house and it seems to be firmly attached, so I'm kind of stuck with it. One of these days I'll have a locksmith crack it open or remove it. It's the storage I was trying to illustrate in this photo.
