Two years ago, I gathered all of the pics I had of my mother-in-law, starting with the first photo taken of her as a new mother, holding her brand new baby, (who later became my husband), and continuing on with photos of her with her other children as they grew through the years, right on through to her grandmother and great-grandmotherhood. After adding captions and personal thoughts, I sent them off to be printed and bound into a hard-cover keepsake book, and presented it to her on Mother's Day. She absolutely loved it! And then she was gone 6 weeks later. I'm so glad I had that chance to let her know how important she was to our family.
