I've now acquired a CD issued by Dennis Gray (mentioned in the song) and Paul Cherry called "The Bar Room Mountaineers" which features a number of Patey's climbing songs, and a couple of restored (if that's the word...they still sound pretty rough!) sections of Tom himself performing "Joe Brown", "Onward Christian Bonington" and others.
