There are several irish music bands over the border in Hungary and Veszprem is having a festival at the end of the month with Hungarians playing Irish music. Another band Pucks and fairies are based in Pecs but tour quite a bit. Comhaltas Ceoltoiri eireann used to have a branch in Budapest and one of their number used to travel weekly to Wien to teach set Dancing.
