If you Click here you will get names, recordings and tunes from Cape Breton, Canada. Natalie McMaster and Jean Carignan are two other great Cape Breton Fiddlers.

For American try to find Mark O'Connor, Jay Ungar, Byron Berline or Alison Krause. These are all contemporary players.

For older styles look for Chubby Wise, Johnny Lee Wills,Arthur Smith, Kenny Baker, Vassar Clements or Tommy Jarrell.

I know I left out a lot, but where do you stop? "The Fiddlers Fake Book", by David Body, Oak Publication number OK63925, available from
Music Sales International

not only has a lot of tunes on paper, but a GREAT discography in the back, so that you can buy the albums and listen to the recording that the tune was done from.

The International book number is
0.8256.0238.6 Hope this helped!
