I have been humming parts of Sassafras for over 40 years and finally thought to Google my quest for more lyrics. I sang this song often as part of a folk group while in high school in Warminster, PA back in the years ending in 1970. Thanks for bringing the mystery together and piecing all the lyrics. It's a fun, playful tune that I will enjoy sharing - finally!!
