The boreal forest of Canada's northern regions is vast but of small value for timber because of stunted growth. It serves mankind as a great air filter removing huge amounts of carbon and returning oxygen to our atmosphere. It is perhaps in greatest danger of being used as biomass to generate "CLEAN" electricity. An oxymoron of great dimension indeed! Yes, great news!
