and Bill Reid threatened to stop work on 'The Spirit of Haida Gwaii' sculpture.. until logging stopped on South Moresby Island (formerly know as the Queen Charlotte Islands).. a park was eventually established through concerted and sustained actiivism... Bill finished that work which is the centerpiece of the Canadian embassy in DC, and its image graces our $20 bill....
well it's that or the Queen on the flip side....
