In the mid 60s, Canadians Gary and Everill Muir were living and singing in New Zealand. They made a record - 'Bottle of wine' and appeared in a local TV programme - 'There is a Meeting' as well as singing at local venues and in concerts.
They returned to Canada after a couple of years but returned here for holidays later.
We have just heard that Gary has died on 8 May in Brantford Ont.
